I think you misunderstood the deal about this balisong. It's not made out of waste as far as I know, the thing about this balisong is that the production process they used reduces the waste by a big margin, which is obviously a very good thing

I should have waited 🥲oh well I'll just use the one i got as my main beater and get another one with better grip later, glad to see they fixed the grip issue that was my main complaint.

Looking forward to your review of the Extrusion tomorrow. The new version needs 1 day to work its magic, after its first flip. Then it will soft but still has a great grip. 😎

Darn, I guess I'll get the purple next lol. I hope this one also fixed a bit of the tolerance issues since mine still has the dreaded tap after a full deep clean. In all seriousness, I still enjoy my black extrusion, so perhaps I'll pick up another when the time is right. Part of me is saying I should have waited, but that's the first batch quirks for ya lol. I do hope we can see this balisong on Amazon at some point. Thanks for the video, keep it up!

Knife is a Squidtrainer V4 by Squid Industries My tip for this trick, hold the blade open by the safe handle and rotate the handle in your hand, as you rotate, try to feel the weight of the bite handle in your wrist as it swings. When you get a feel for it, try giving the bite handle a full spin, and then try spinning it for as long as you can.

IDK if it's because the canyon was my first balisong but i realized after getting the extrusion that i'm not into light balisongs. Although my opinion may change over time since i'm still a beginner. Edit. Okay it's been slowly growing on me the more I flip it not even a day in.

My Extrusion is around a day away from arriving. Does this mean that all of the first batch of extrusions will be Pre- production models? Also, this is definitely a preferential thing, but while I love my Canyon trainer to death, I do find that the weight can be a hindrance in certain scenarios to learn certain tricks. I am currently trying to learn a trick called "The Kiss Goodbye," which requires some ricochet twirl style movements between the fingers. After a few minutes, my Canyon feels like it's giving my wrist the carpal tunnel starter pack. Hopefully this balisong is the yin to the Canyon's yang, and can give me a somewhat grippy Squiddy AL adjacent flipper that I can easily replace. I also pray for the handle gap to hold firm as I still am anxious about steel pins hitting an aluminum blade.
